Things to do for the Mind
As you go forward, make Self-Care for your mind a way of being.
Remember to:
- Consume forms of media that make you feel good
- Nurture empowering thoughts about who you are; you might even want to write down a list of empowering thoughts about yourself and keep it up at your desk, or any other place you can easily see it
- Practice awareness, so that you always know what your mind is focused on
- Every time a negative, disempowering thought comes up, take a breath to interrupt it; replace it with something positive
- Practice deep breathing and meditation to clear your mind; a clear mind doesn't dwell in low-vibrating thoughts
